A world of opportunities in South East Asia
The world’s leading airport equipment show – inter airport returns to Singapore for 2015, with support from the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), ACI Asia Pacific and the Singapore Tourist Board (STB). The event will also feature a high level Smart Airports conference.
This exhibition will cover two distinct areas of airport technology and equipment. The show will be split into a Terminal section and an GSE section – both positioned within the air-conditioned exhibition hall.
With South East Asia’s developing countries currently recording some of the best economic growth rates in the world, and also forecast as the fastest growing aviation market over the next twenty years at 8.4% per annum, there can be no better time for an exhibition focussed on the airport industry to showcase in Singapore from 21 - 23 January 2015.
inter airport South East Asia, Singapore is the one stop exhibition for the Airport industry and has a comprehensive range of equipment, technology, security, design and services for ground handling; terminal operations, airport IT and airport design, and is renowned for offering stimulating new ideas and first-class expertise for the airports of the future.
South East Asia’s large population, rapidly expanding middle class and booming economies provide perfect ingredients for rising investment and demand in air travel, both locally and internationally. The rapid growth of aviation in the region has resulted in a wide range of current as well as planned investments in all sectors of the industry by governments, airlines, and other aviation companies totalling billions of dollars.
By 2025 Asian airports are expected to handle more than three times the volume of movements handled in 2005. Asia has been the location of the best airports in the world and continues this trend.
As a faithful exhibitor at the inter airport exhibition, Proavia is delighted that the show organiser decided to
stage a new event in South East Asia. It is without hesitation that we decided to take part in the show which will
take place in Singapore, as several projects are ongoing in this area. To quote only a few: we have identified interesting
opportunities for French companies with the construction of Terminal 4 and the future Terminal 5 at Changi airport,
as well as the development of Syamsudin Noor Airport, Ahmad Yani or the new Yogyakarta airport in Indonesia.
At the centre of this rapidly growing region sits Singapore, home to one of the world’s busiest airports catering for over 50 million passengers a year - making it the perfect venue for South East Asia’s exhibition dedicated to the whole airline industry.
